Lauda Europe, part of the Ryanair Group, is opening a very limited number of cadet places on our A320 Type Rating programme to support continued growth. Train to the highest standards and take the runway toward an A320 flight deck career.
✈️ The opportunity
Join a focused, high-performance training pathway that equips you to operate the Airbus A320 within a disciplined, safety-first environment. Successful candidates will complete an intensive Type Rating and, subject to performance and operational requirements, gain the opportunity to fly the A320 with Lauda Europe.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Undertake an intensive A320 Type Rating with Ryanair Group training partners and instructors.
- Adhere to company SOPs and EASA regulations at every stage of training and line operations.
- Demonstrate strong airmanship, situational awareness, and teamwork in simulators and on the line.
- Maintain currency through briefings, self-study, and recurrent checks as required.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Licences: EASA Frozen ATPL with valid IR, ME, MCC, and UPRT.
- MCC standard: EASA APS MCC certificate in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A. Note: Standard MCC and MCC/JOC are not accepted.
- Pilot-in-Command time: Modular course: 100 hours PIC; Integrated course (Appendix 3 A, C & D to Part-FCL and AMC1): 70 hours PIC.
- Medical: EASA Class 1.
- Language: ICAO ELP level 4 or higher.
- Accepted licences: EASA only.
- Right to work: Able to work without visa sponsorship.
📑 Additional requirements
- Flight school report (to be provided with your application).
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check and meet all other regulatory requirements.

- Attach copies of your EASA licence pages, Class 1 medical, and proof of APS MCC completion.
- Include a breakdown of PIC hours (indicate Modular or Integrated pathway).
