A320 Cadet Pilot – First Officer Pathway

Join SalamAir’s purpose-built cadet route designed for newly licensed pilots. You’ll progress through A320 type rating and airline onboarding, continue to base and line training, and build supervised operating experience to qualify as an A320 First Officer.

🧰 Minimum eligibility

• License: Frozen ATPL with IR, Multi-Engine (ME), MCC, and Advanced UPRT
• Authority acceptance: EASA or ICAO licences
• Flight experience: Meets Oman CAA minimum experience and qualification requirements (Single Engine, Multi-Engine, MCC, PBN, Advanced UPRT)
• Type rating: Not required — A320 type rating provided
• Medical: Current Class 1
• English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
• Education: Secondary School Certificate with a 75%+ average (per Ministry of Education scale)
• Background check: Criminal Record Check (Basic Disclosure)
