A320/A321 First Officer – Vietjet Air (Hanoi Base, Vietnam)

✈️ The opportunity

Vietjet Air is hiring experienced First Officers to operate A320/A321 aircraft from our Vietnam bases. You’ll fly diverse domestic and regional routes, embrace a strong safety culture, and work alongside a professional, friendly crew community.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Formulate and review flight plans aligned with operational and safety requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and systems checks.
• Communicate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) for clearances, take-off, and landing.
• Monitor cockpit instruments, aircraft performance, weather, and traffic throughout flight.
• Request and action flight plan changes when operationally required.
• Coordinate with the Captain and cabin crew to ensure regulatory and passenger compliance.
• Complete post-flight documentation, including flight and aircraft status reports.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time (1,500 hours for A320F operations).
• Valid ATPL with current A320/A321 type rating.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Valid Instrument Rating and Aircraft Rating.
• Certificate of Upset Recovery Training in a Full Flight Simulator.
• Last flight on A320/A321 within 6 months during the licensing period.
• ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
• Letter of authentication from the Civil Aviation Authority of the CPL/ATPL country of origin.
• Recommendation or Release Letter from previous airline(s).
• Criminal record check within 6 months (notarized by the Vietnam embassy).
• No accident or incident history within the last 5 years.
• Last 5 pages of logbook available.
• Passport with at least 1-year validity.
• Maximum age: 60 (male) / 55 (female).
• Completed flight training history survey.
