🧭 The mission

As G800 Captain, you’ll hold ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient operation of aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo on ultra-long-range, high-profile itineraries worldwide. You will coordinate closely with the Director of Flight Operations, flight crew and cabin crew to uphold rigorous standards and deliver discreet, exceptional VIP service.

• Exercise sound command judgment with safety as the non‑negotiable priority on every sector.
• Operate in full compliance with the company Operations Manual, SOPs, applicable regulations and industry best practices.
• Lead robust checklist discipline; ensure precise navigation, adherence to minimum altitudes, aircraft limitations and operating procedures.
• Plan fuel and alternates prudently; maintain adequate reserves throughout each flight.
• Champion excellent CRM and airmanship; direct the flight deck and partner with cabin crew to meet cabin-safety and VIP expectations.
• Provide clear passenger briefings; ensure emergency equipment and procedures are addressed and ready.
• Complete all flight, technical and operational documentation accurately; report incidents and occurrences per company procedures.
• Stay current on aviation regulations, company procedures and international operating requirements.
• Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism, discretion and impeccable appearance at all times.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Valid ATPL (FAA, UK CAA, EASA or equivalent) and current Class 1 Medical.
• Proven experience as Captain on business jets or relevant multi-engine, turbine aircraft.
• Previous Gulfstream experience strongly preferred; G800 type rating preferred but not essential (non‑type‑rated candidates considered).
• Strong international and/or VIP aviation experience with excellent leadership, communication and decision‑making.
• Expert understanding of CRM and modern business aviation operations.
• Calm, adaptable approach suitable for demanding, time‑sensitive, worldwide operations; willingness for international travel and flexible schedules.
• Ability to work in heavy‑maintenance and upscale customer areas with variable noise, vibration, occasional fuel fumes, all‑weather exposure and seasonal temperature extremes.
