🧰 The Fleet You’ll Join
KLM operates a diverse fleet. Depending on seniority and operational needs, you may be assigned to:
- Airbus A320 family
- Boeing 737 family
- Boeing 777
- Boeing 787 Dreamliner
- Boeing 747 (Cargo)
Note: Final aircraft and base assignment are determined by company seniority and operational requirements.
🧭 Your Mission
- Operate multi-crew, multi-engine commercial flights in accordance with KLM SOPs and EASA regulations.
- Collaborate with the Captain and cabin crew to deliver a safe, efficient, and customer-centric experience.
- Maintain currency and professional standards through recurrent training and continuous learning.
- Champion a strong safety culture, sound decision-making, and effective CRM.
🧾 Minimum Requirements
- Type Rating: Required
- Accepted Licenses: EASA
- License Required: Frozen ATPL (with IR), MCC, ME, and UPRT
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: Level 6
- Flight Time: At least 500 hours on a heavy twin fixed-wing aircraft (≥ 5,700 kg)
- Currency: 150 hours of recent flying experience in commercial aviation
- Education: Minimum MBO-4 diploma in technology or HAVO diploma, both including English, mathematics, and physics; or foreign equivalent
- Language: Good knowledge of Dutch. If you do not speak Dutch, you must pass a B2-level exam under the European Framework of Reference prior to the selection procedure
- Passport: Valid passport
