✈️ The Opportunity

Join our Flight Operations team as a Non Type‑Rated First Officer and operate modern, efficient narrow‑body aircraft on a network built around great service and reliable performance. You’ll receive comprehensive type‑rating training, robust line training, and ongoing support from experienced training captains and instructors.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the flight deck and wider operational teams to deliver a safe, efficient, and on‑time operation.
  • Apply strong CRM, threat and error management, and sound decision‑making on every sector.
  • Contribute to pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, and briefings.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and represent our award‑winning customer experience.

🧰 Training & Fleet Assignment

As a Non Type‑Rated Pilot, you’ll undertake a full type‑rating course onto either the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737, followed by supervised line training and continuous development. Fleet allocation is determined by operational requirements.

  • Type Rating: Provided by Jet2.com
  • Line Training: Structured syllabus with mentoring and continuous feedback
  • Standards: Safety‑first culture with rigorous checking and recurrent training

🌟 Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 500 hours multi‑crew/multi‑engine on jet or turboprop aircraft above 10 tonnes MTOW
  • At least 500 hours multi‑pilot and 500 hours multi‑engine experience
  • UK CAA Frozen ATPL with valid IR and ME
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • ICAO ELP Level 5 (minimum)
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Right to work: Visa sponsorship is not provided; you must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
