As a Gulfstream GIV Series First Officer, you will support the Captain across all phases of flight, apply sharp decision-making in dynamic environments, and uphold uncompromising standards of airmanship and customer care.

🧭 The Mission

Partner with the Captain to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Gulfstream GIV-series aircraft. You will lead meticulous preflight planning, execute precise cockpit procedures, champion effective CRM, and adapt confidently to diverse operating conditions—drawing on your prior experience in African operations to navigate unique terrain, airspace, and infrastructure considerations.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough flight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance calculations.
  • Manage FMS setup, briefing, and checklist discipline from preflight through shutdown.
  • Monitor flight progress, fuel, and systems; support abnormal and emergency procedures.
  • Uphold SOPs, regulatory compliance, and a just culture focused on safety and teamwork.
  • Deliver a polished passenger experience while maintaining operational excellence.

🌟 Minimum Requirements

  • Total Flight Time: 1000 hours minimum
  • Time in Type: 100 hours on GIV/G350/G400/G450
  • Operational Experience: Previous operational experience in Africa
  • Start Window: Available within two months’ notice

🧾 Certifications & Licensing

  • Type Rating: Required on Gulfstream GIV series (G350/G400/G450)
  • License: CPL with IR and ME
  • Accepted Authorities: EASA, FAA, UK CAA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
