🧭 The opportunity

Join Air Astana’s Airbus operation in Almaty as a First Officer and help deliver safe, reliable service across a dynamic regional and international network. You’ll operate modern Airbus aircraft alongside experienced Captains in a safety-first, performance-driven culture with excellent standards of training and professionalism.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Operate Airbus aircraft in full compliance with company SOPs, ICAO regulations, and ATC clearances.
• Collaborate with the Captain on flight planning, performance calculations, fuel management, and operational decision-making.
• Execute all phases of flight with strong systems monitoring, navigation accuracy, and timely callouts.
• Apply robust CRM, TEM, and checklist discipline to manage normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections and ensure accurate postflight documentation.
• Maintain currency through recurrent training, checking, and continuous learning.

🌟 What you’ll bring

• Licence: Current and valid ICAO ATPL with a current Airbus type rating.
• Experience: Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours on type.
• Medical & Language: Valid Class 1 medical and ICAO English Level 4 (or higher).
• Recency & Checks: Flown the applicable Airbus type within the last 12 months and hold a current LPC. Candidates with type experience within the last 36 months may be considered, subject to overall experience and professional background.
• Age: Maximum 45 years at the time of application.

📍 Base & operation

Almaty is your home base for Air Astana’s Airbus operation. You’ll support a varied schedule across domestic and international routes, representing the airline’s high standards of safety, service, and on-time performance.
