🧭 What you’ll do

  • Lead safe, efficient E190 operations across Europe, upholding the highest safety and compliance standards.
  • Exercise decisive command as PIC, managing flight planning, fuel, and operational performance.
  • Foster a professional cockpit culture, mentoring crew and promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Represent German Airways with exceptional airmanship, judgement, and passenger focus.

🧰 What you’ll need

  • Licensing: Valid EASA ATPL(A) and Class 1 Medical.
  • Experience: Minimum 4,000 total flight hours and 1,000 hours as PIC on aircraft over 20 tonnes MTOW.
  • Language: ICAO English Level 4+ and either German (B2/native) or English (B2/native).
  • Right to work: Unrestricted EU passport and authorization to work in the EU.
  • Education: General university entrance qualification (Abitur), Fachhochschulreife, or subject-specific university entrance qualification.
  • Compliance: Valid reliability/background check as required by law.
  • Personal attributes: Leadership personality with high personal responsibility and flexibility; strong team spirit and commitment.
  • Preferred: Current Embraer E170/E190 type rating. Type rating costs covered if required.
