At BA Euroflyer, we’re inviting experienced First Officers to join our A320 family at London Gatwick and step onto a clear pathway to command in approximately 12 months (subject to vacancy and meeting required standards). Fly a vibrant network of 40+ European and North African destinations while developing the leadership, judgement and commercial focus to take the left seat.

🧭 Your route to command

  • Permanent employment with a transparent progression plan to Captain.
  • Join as a Direct Entry First Officer; demonstrate the skills, energy and leadership we expect of future Captains.
  • NTR welcome — type rating training provided on the A320 family via ZFTT (subject to eligibility).
  • Operate from our London Gatwick (LGW) base across a 40+ destination network.

🧰 What you’ll need

  • Total time: Minimum 2,500 hours total time (subject to factorisation) on an aircraft type that satisfies ZFTT; you must have flown that type within the last 6 months.
  • Licences: UK-issued ATPL (A), fATPL (A) or MPL; or an EASA licence eligible for UK CAA conversion routes 3, 4, 5 or 6.
  • Ratings: IR and ME.
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • Language: ICAO ELP Level 6.
  • Passport: Valid passport and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not provided).
  • Type rating: Not required; training provided.

Upgrade timeline c. 12 months is subject to vacancy and meeting required standards.
