Challenger 650 Captain – Rochester, NY (Private Aviation)

🧭 What you’ll do

• Assume full command of assigned flights, making critical decisions that ensure compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
• Lead a professional crew and foster a culture of safety, open communication, and exceptional service.
• Plan and execute domestic and international missions; adapt to changing conditions to deliver safe, seamless trips.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and performance; manage flight plans and fuel strategies.
• Perform TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator functions under the applicable Twelve-Five or private charter standard security program.
• Conduct or delegate passenger safety briefings; report hazards and aircraft discrepancies promptly.
• Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and accurate trip paperwork.
• Represent Jet Aviation with integrity, discretion, and polished client-facing professionalism.

🧰 What you bring

• Certificates & Medical: ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted) and FAA First Class Medical.
• Ability to travel worldwide without restrictions; flexibility for variable schedules.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Preferred: Current/appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated integrity, discretion, and a quality-focused mindset.

📏 Minimum flight experience

• Total time: 3,500 hours fixed-wing
• PIC time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-engine: 1,500 hours
• Turbo-jet: 500 hours
• Turbine: 500 hours
• Night: 100 hours
• Simulated instrument: 75 hours

🔐 Safety, security & compliance

• Adhere to all federal, local, and company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Execute IFSC duties in accordance with the Twelve-Five or private charter standard security program.
• Promote open safety reporting; identify and communicate hazards and discrepancies.
