CAE is hiring an experienced SME to elevate RCAF training at our Trenton, Canada facility. If you’re a proven C‑130J/CC130J Aircraft Commander who loves turning operational know‑how into world‑class training, this role puts your expertise exactly where it matters—mission readiness.

🧭 Your mission
As the C‑130J Pilot SME, you’ll be the technical and operational backbone for RCAF training—translating fleet experience into accurate, current, and impactful courseware and simulation.
- Update and refine C‑130J/CC130J training courseware, syllabi, and training media to reflect current tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Validate simulator configurations and fidelity to ensure accurate aircraft systems, performance, and mission profiles.
- Advise on training plans, quality standards, and best practices to drive measurable student outcomes.
- Collaborate with instructors, engineers, and RCAF stakeholders to synchronize training objectives with operational needs.
- Support device tests, verifications, and acceptance activities; document findings and corrective actions.
- Leverage Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) to create clear, audit‑ready documentation and briefings.
🧰 What you bring
- Previously trained CC130J Pilot.
- Minimum 600 hours as Aircraft Commander on CC130J/E/H.
- Proof of hours via CF1281 Logbook.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail‑oriented with superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards, training plans, and training media.
- Eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain/maintain Controlled Goods and Government of Canada security clearance.

🔐 Clearances and compliance
