🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 7,000+ hours
  • PIC time (total): 2,500+ hours
  • PIC time on B787: 1,000+ hours
  • Jet time: 5,000+ hours (airline jet transport)
  • Flight time notes: 2,500+ total PIC airline jet transport hours; 5,000+ total airline jet transport hours

🌟 Qualifications & currency

  • Type rating: Required on Boeing 787
  • Last flight: Flown as B787 PIC within 12 months, or within 24 months if currently qualified on another multi-crew jet
  • License: ATPL — ICAO
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 5
