As a Boeing 777 Captain, you will lead international ACMI wet lease and charter operations from several bases located near major international airports. Air Atlanta Icelandic offers a choice of balanced rotations, comprehensive training, and strong operational support to keep you flying safely and efficiently across passenger and cargo missions.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Operate Boeing 777 aircraft on global ACMI wet lease and charter missions.
  • Command international passenger and cargo flights with a safety-first mindset.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, performance planning, and crew briefings.
  • Ensure strict compliance with EASA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Lead effective crew resource management and sound operational decision-making.

🌟 What You’ll Bring

  • EASA Part-FCL ATPL.
  • Valid ME/IR and EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
  • Minimum 5000 total flight hours (or 6000 total with 4500 on medium to heavy turbojet).
  • Minimum 4500 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft.
  • Minimum 1500 hours as Commander (PIC).
  • Last flight preferably within the preceding 6 months.
  • Valid EU/UK passport.
  • Non-Type-Rated candidates accepted — Boeing 777 type rating will be provided.

🎓 Training & Type Rating

  • Comprehensive Boeing 777 type rating provided (approximately 2 months).
  • Travel and accommodation arranged for the full training course.
  • Ground and simulator training hotel included.

🗓 Roster, Pay & Perks

  • Rotational schedules to suit your lifestyle: 21/14, 21/21, or 24/12 days on/off.
  • Payment structured as daily fees with per diem allowances.
  • Overtime allowance for hours above 65 within rotation (max 30 days).
  • Hard days premium for days worked outside your rotation.
  • Return flights to domicile for each rotation.
  • Accommodation provided at layover stations and base.
  • Travel insurance and Med Air emergency access.
