Boeing 737NG Captain – Type-Rated | Transavia

As a Transavia Captain on the Boeing 737NG, you will lead safe, efficient short- and medium-haul operations, coach and mentor First Officers, uphold SOPs and company standards, and deliver an excellent passenger experience. You’ll exercise sound judgment, maintain a just culture on the flight deck, and champion continuous improvement in safety and performance.

• Total time: 3,500+ hours
• PIC on type: 1,000+ hours on Boeing 737NG
• Type rating: Valid and current Boeing 737NG
• Currency: 50 hours on type within the last 6 months
• License required: ATPL
• Accepted licenses: EASA
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO ELP level to apply: ELP 5

Important: ELP 6 is required prior to the start of your employment with Transavia.

• Command Boeing 737NG operations across Transavia’s network, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Lead the flight deck, mentor First Officers, and foster an open-reporting, just culture.
• Execute precise, stabilized approaches and fuel-efficient operations in line with company SOPs.
• Collaborate with cabin crew and operations for punctual, customer-focused turnarounds.
• Maintain personal currency and support recurrent training and checking to the highest standards.

• Proven command capability on the Boeing 737NG with strong decision-making under pressure.
• Clear, concise communication and excellent crew resource management.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and a positive passenger experience.
• Readiness to obtain/hold ELP Level 6 prior to start.
