Boeing 737NG Captain – Brussels (New Base Launch)

✈️ The opportunity

Join a start-up sized, highly professional team of around 60 pilots at our Brussels base. As Captain, you set the tone on the flight deck, take ultimate responsibility for a safe, efficient operation, and foster a calm, friendly, and professional atmosphere on board.

You’ll operate across a diverse European network — from sunny islands to busy city airports — where changing routes, weather and airfields keep every day varied and rewarding. In the coming years, our operation will transition to the Airbus A321neo, with conversion training provided.

• Serve as the cockpit point of contact and lead the crew to deliver a safe, smooth operation.
• Make sound, timely decisions in dynamic operational conditions across Europe.
• Champion professionalism, teamwork, and an excellent onboard atmosphere for customers and crew.
• Contribute to the successful launch and growth of Transavia’s Brussels base.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Licences & ratings: Valid EASA ATPL; valid ME/IR (A) with PBN; MCC; Advanced UPRT (if licence issued after 20-12-2021).
• Medical: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Type & hours: Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with at least 1,000 current hours as Captain on type (including 50 hours in the last 6 months) and a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours on multi-engine aircraft.
• Language: Minimum ICAO English Level 5 at application; Level 6 required before joining Transavia.
• Other: Ability to swim one full length without aids (wet drill requirement) and a valid EU passport.
