ATR 42 First Officer – Type Rating Provided

🧭 The Opportunity

As a First Officer on the ATR 42, you will operate across a dynamic regional network, practicing disciplined SOPs, strong CRM, and precise hands-on flying. You’ll train on type and progress to line operations supported by experienced instructors and Captains, all within a robust safety and just-culture environment.

🧰 What You’ll Do

• Operate the ATR 42 as First Officer in accordance with EASA regulations, company SOPs, and best CRM practice.
• Support the Captain through all phases of flight: fuel and performance planning, briefings, threat and error management, and precise flight path control.
• Apply a structured, analytical approach to normal, abnormal, and emergency scenarios, taking initiative within your role and authority.
• Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with flight deck, cabin, dispatch, and ground operations.
• Champion teamwork, standard calls, cross-checks, and timely decision-making to keep every sector safe and on time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through accurate reporting and feedback in a just-culture framework.

🌟 Minimum Requirements

• PIC Time: 70 hours minimum
• Type Rating: Not required — ATR 42 training provided
• License: EASA Frozen ATPL with IR, MCC, ME, UPRT
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO English: Level 4+
• Accepted Licenses: EASA
• Right to Work: Independent right to live and work in the base country (visa sponsorship not provided)

🎓 Training & Development

You’ll receive a structured ATR 42 type rating delivered by the operator or an approved training partner, followed by base and line training under close mentorship. Expect rigorous recurrent training and checking to keep your skills current and sharp.

• Comprehensive ground school and systems training aligned to EASA standards.
• Simulator sessions focused on SOP discipline, TEM, and abnormal procedures.
• Base training and supervised line flying leading to line release.
• Ongoing recurrent training to maintain proficiency and regulatory compliance.
