Airbus A330 First Officer – Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi

As a First Officer on the A330, you will be a key member of the flight deck team, supporting the Captain to ensure every flight is conducted safely, securely and efficiently in line with Etihad procedures and regulatory standards.

• Assist with flight preparation, navigation and aircraft operation in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
• Independently monitor aircraft position, terrain and weather, maintaining situational awareness at all times.
• Provide clear communication, advice and decision support to the Captain.
• Uphold high standards of discipline, conduct and professional appearance.
• Assume command in accordance with rank and company procedures should the Captain become incapacitated.

• Total time: Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time.
• Multi-crew glass cockpit MPA: At least 1,500 hours.
• On type: At least 1,000 hours on the A330.
• Recency: Flown an A330 family aircraft within the last 12 months.
• Type rating: A330 type rating valid for at least 2 months at time of joining.
• License: Unrestricted ATPL or valid Frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state. Frozen ATPL holders must provide ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Exam results and an integrated ATPL course completion certificate.
• Medical: Unrestricted current Class 1 medical.
• Age: Under 50 on date of joining.
• English proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher (written and verbal).
