🧭 The Role

As Captain on the Airbus A330, you will command long-haul and regional wide-body operations, uphold the highest standards of airmanship, and cultivate a collaborative cockpit culture. You’ll model professionalism, lead by example, and ensure every flight is safe, compliant, and on-time.

  • Command A330 sectors with strict adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor flight deck and cabin crew; champion effective CRM and a just culture.
  • Exercise sound judgment in dynamic operational environments and during irregular operations.
  • Optimize flight planning, fuel, and performance for safe and efficient outcomes.
  • Represent the airline with professionalism in all customer and regulatory interactions.

🧰 Minimum Requirements

  • Total time: 5,000 hours
  • Jet time: 3,500 hours
  • Jet PIC time: 1,500 hours
  • In-type (A330): 500 hours
  • PIC in type (A330): 500 hours
  • Flight time notes: 3,500 hours on jet transport above 50,000 kg and 1,500 hours PIC on jet transport above 50,000 kg
  • License: ATPL
  • Accepted licenses: ICAO
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Type rating: A330 (current and valid)

🌟 Preferred Experience

  • Previous time on the Airbus family and/or other wide-body aircraft.
