✈️ Take command as an Airbus A320 Family Captain
Step into the left seat with a long-term, permanent command opportunity. We’re seeking an experienced, type-rated Airbus commander who leads with precision, champions safety, and inspires crew performance.
🧭 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 3,500 hours+
- PIC (total): 800 hours+
- PIC on A320/A330/A340: 500 hours+ (combination across types accepted)
- Multi-engine: 2,000 hours+
- Jet time: 800 hours+
- Heavy multi-crew experience: Minimum 2,000 hours on a multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft > 30,000 kg MTOW with an established airline, cargo operator, private operator or military transport.
- PIC heavy jet: Minimum 800 hours PIC on a multi-crew, multi-engine jet > 30,000 kg (no PIC time on turboprops considered)
- Last flight recency: Operated as Commander on A320/A330/A340 within the 36 months prior to course start
- Licence: ATPL
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Required – A320/A330/A340 type rating must be endorsed on licence
🧰 Licence and validation notes
- Accepted licences: EASA Part-FCL (UK licences accepted for application only) or a National Licence compliant with ICAO standards
- FAA licences: Not accepted
- ICAO licence holders: Will require Maltese TM-CAD validation
- Type rating recency: Application must be within 36 months of the most recent A320/A330/A340 “Valid Until” date in Section XII “Certificate of Revalidation”. The rating must not have been expired for more than 3 years at the intended OCC/CCQ course start.
