Step into the left seat of the Airbus A320 family and lead safe, efficient operations on a permanent contract. If you meet the command and turbine experience thresholds, we will provide type training — making this a standout pathway for proven Captains to transition onto the A320.

✈️ The role

As Captain on the A320 family, you will command every phase of flight, champion a just culture, and model procedural discipline. You will mentor the flight deck team, collaborate closely with Cabin Crew and Operations, and ensure outcomes that prioritise safety, passenger experience, and on-time performance.

  • Lead safe, compliant operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a high-performance cockpit culture through clear communication, coaching, and threat-and-error management.
  • Exercise sound operational judgement in dynamic environments, balancing safety, efficiency, and commercial considerations.
  • Support training and checking activities as required, maintaining exemplary standards of airmanship.

🧭 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 5,000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command: 1,000 hours PIC
  • Turbine time: 1,000 hours
  • Transport category experience: Minimum 1,000 hrs (P1) on transport jet/turboprop aircraft with MTOW Cat B (5,700 kg to 40,000 kg) or higher

🌟 Preferred profile

  • A320 type rating (current or lapsed)
  • Endorsements on ATPL such as TRI/TRE and/or SFI/SFE

Non-Type Rated? You are welcome to apply — training will be provided for suitable candidates.

🧰 Licensing & compliance

  • Licence: ATPL (PCAA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 (minimum)
