Ready to take your Airbus FBW experience to the world’s flagship? Join as an A380 First Officer on a permanent contract. No current A380 type rating? No problem — we provide full training for qualified Airbus FBW pilots.

🧭 The essentials

  • Employment: Permanent
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided
  • License: ATPL (open to ICAO license holders)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English Proficiency: ELP Level 4+
  • Visa sponsorship: Provided

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total flight time: ≥ 2,000 hours on ≥ 50T jet (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston)
  • Airbus FBW experience: ≥ 1,000 hours (e.g., A320/A330/A350/A380)
  • Currently flying an Airbus FBW type
  • Recent experience: ≥ 150 hours on Airbus FBW within the last 12 months
  • License: Valid ATPL. Pilots with Frozen ATPL (CPL + ATPL theory completed) may be invited for assessment subject to FATPL terms and conditions
  • Medical: Valid Class 1; ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher

Note: This is an NTR pathway — successful candidates receive full A380 type training.

  • Operate the A380 as First Officer in accordance with company SOPs and all regulatory requirements
  • Partner with the Captain and cabin crew to deliver a safe, efficient, and on-time operation
  • Perform thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and briefings
  • Manage Airbus FBW automation and systems across normal and abnormal operations
  • Uphold exemplary CRM, safety, and a continuous improvement mindset
