🧭 Who we’re looking for
Experienced First Officers and Direct Entry Captains currently in the US or Canada who hold UK/Irish citizenship or can qualify via UK/Irish grandparents, and who are motivated to convert to UK licensing within defined timelines.
- Citizenship/Heritage: UK or Irish citizenship, or British/Irish grandparents to be eligible for an Ancestry Visa or passport (UK or Ireland).
- First Officers: Minimum 1500 hours total flight time and a full ATP (FAA, TCCA, CASA, or other ICAO state).
- Senior First Officers: Minimum 1500 hours multi-crew time.
- Direct Entry Captains: Actively flying the A320 in an airline environment with at least 2000 hours A320 PIC.
- Medical & Exams: Eligible to complete UK CAA written exams and obtain initial UK medical within 12 months.
- License: ATPL required.
Wizz Air UK will reimburse certain costs and provide online course access to support the conversion process.

- Operate A320 family aircraft across the Wizz Air UK network from London Luton and Gatwick.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, SOP adherence, and crew cooperation.
- Engage in structured training and assessments leading toward command upgrade where applicable.
