🧑✈️ What you’ll do
- Operate A320 family aircraft to company SOPs with an unwavering focus on safety and compliance.
- Deliver excellent on‑time performance and a great customer experience.
- Work collaboratively within a multi‑crew environment using strong CRM and communication skills.
- Support operational decision‑making through effective pre‑flight planning and threat/error management.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Flight time
- Total time: 500+ hours
- 2D and 3D instrument approach endorsements
- Plus one of the following:
- 200 hours in command of a multi‑engine aircraft (excluding PICUS); or
- 200 hours in command of a turbine‑powered fixed‑wing aircraft; or
- 200 hours on aircraft certified for operation by two pilots (multi‑crew)
- Licences and training
- Frozen ATPL, IR, MCC, ME
- Accepted authorities: CASA or NZCAA
- Class 1 medical
- ICAO ELP Level 6
- Eligibility and compliance
- A current passport with unrestricted access to all Jetstar ports of call and at least 12 months’ validity
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
- Ability to hold an ASIC and/or AVSEC
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, relevant Australian permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Australia
- COVID‑19 vaccination where permitted by applicable law
Note: A current New Zealand ATPL or CPL with Multi‑Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating must be converted via the Trans‑Tasman Mutual Recognition Act prior to employment.
