✈️ About the role
As an A320 Family Captain, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and on-time operation of AJet flights, lead the flight crew, and uphold the highest safety and service standards. You will mentor First Officers, exercise sound operational judgment, and collaborate closely with OCC, cabin leadership, and maintenance to deliver a reliable operation.
🧭 Minimum requirements
- License: ATPL (EASA, FAA, or ICAO)
- Type rating: A320 family (current and type-rated)
- Total time: 4,000+ hours
- Aircraft category: Minimum 4,000 hours on aircraft >27 tons MTOW
- PIC on type: 500+ hours on A320 family as PIC
- Recency: Actively flown within the last 6 months
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: ELP Level 4 or higher
🧰 Additional eligibility
- Education: At least high school graduation
- Discipline & safety: No written penalties for flight failure or flight indiscipline; Incident/Accident Clearance Statement required
- Background: No criminal record or criminal archive record
- Employment history: No prior resignation or termination for indiscipline from Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations; no previous contract termination from Turkish Airlines Inc. or its affiliates
- Base: Willing to accept the AJet-designated main base and reside there
- Logbook: Updated logbook pages, formally verified/approved
- License validity at start: At least 2 months remaining on your flight license as of employment start date (post-evaluation)
- Pre-employment health: Able to pass AJet’s pre-employment health examination
