Now, at BA Euroflyer, we’re looking for Direct Entry Pilots who are ready to take the next step — those with the skills, energy, and leadership to become Captains. As an experienced First Officer, you’ll join a fleet where your aspiration for command is supported by a clear pathway to promotion within approximately 12 months (subject to vacancy and meeting required standards). Based at London Gatwick, you’ll help take our wings to new heights, serving 40+ sought‑after destinations across Europe and North Africa.

🧰 Training and progression
- NTR welcomed — full TR provided on the Airbus A320 family.
- Clear pathway to Captain within approximately 12 months, subject to vacancy and meeting required standards.
- Training aligned to UK CAA and EASA requirements, including ZFTT where applicable.
📍 Where you’ll fly
From our London Gatwick base, you’ll operate to more than 40 destinations across Europe and North Africa — from city breaks to coastal escapes — delivering the signature BA Euroflyer service every time.
📜 Minimum requirements
- Total time: Minimum 2,500 hours total time (subject to factorisation) on an aircraft type that satisfies ZFTT; flown this type within the last 6 months.
- Type rating: Not required — training provided.
- Licences accepted: UK CAA ATPL (A), fATPL (A), MPL; or an EASA licence meeting UK CAA conversion routes 3, 4, 5 or 6.
- Ratings: IR and ME current.
- Medical: Class 1.
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 6.
- Passport: Valid.
- Open to: EASA and UK CAA licence holders.
