As an A320 Captain with easyJet, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations across the UK, EEA and our wider network, setting the tone for teamwork, customer focus and on‑time performance. You’ll join a high‑energy, safety‑first culture with modern Airbus aircraft and robust support from our operations and training teams.

  • Command A320 family aircraft to the highest safety and compliance standards.
  • Lead and mentor the flight deck and cabin crew, fostering excellent CRM.
  • Deliver smooth, punctual operations while managing fuel and operational decisions.
  • Represent easyJet values with professionalism and great customer care.

🧰 Training and onboarding

Joining non‑type rated? We’ll get you flight‑deck ready on the A320:

  • A320 Type Rating: Completed with an approved training organisation at the start of employment. (Funding options available.)
  • easyJet OCC: Following your type rating, you’ll complete our Operator’s Conversion Course, then a standard OCC prior to line operations.

📏 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 4,000 hours
  • PIC time: 1,000 hours
  • PIC on jets >30T MTOW: Minimum 1,000 hours by easyJet induction date
  • Licence required: ATPLUK CAA only
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP level: 4 (minimum)
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided

All experience must be verifiable and current at the time of application and by the easyJet induction date.
