Scoot is growing its Airbus narrow-body operations and inviting seasoned captains to join as Direct Entry A320 Captains. From the left-hand seat, you will set the tone for safety, comfort and punctuality while coaching the team to deliver the signature Scootitude experience.   • Location: Singapore HQ, Singapore
  • Assessment: Singapore Assessment Centre (2026 intake)
  • Fleet: Airbus A320 family
  • Visa sponsorship: Provided
  • License required: ATPL (ICAO) – CAAS-issued or convertible
  • Roster: Fixed patterns with predictable work and rest days

✈️ Role at a Glance

  • Command every flight from the left-hand seat, upholding the highest personal and professional standards.
  • Lead safe, comfortable and on-time operations across Scoot’s A320 network.
  • Model collaborative leadership, coach crew members and champion the Scootitude passenger experience.

🧭 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total time: 3,500+ hours on aeroplanes with MTMA ≥ 5,700 kg
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,000+ hours (P1 U/S excluded)
  • Multi-engine time: 1,000+ hours on multi-engine jet commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation
  • License: Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)–issued ICAO ATPL; holders of a foreign ATPL must complete conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months’ validity
  • Language: English proficiency ICAO Level 4 or higher
  • Health & compliance: Meets all CAAS vaccination and regulatory requirements
