Lauda Europe is opening a very limited number of Cadet places on its A320 Type Rating programme to support fleet growth. Train to the highest standards and, upon successful completion of training and company requirements, take your seat on the A320 with Lauda Europe, part of the Ryanair Group.
🧭 About the programme
This Cadet pathway is designed for newly qualified pilots who are ready to step into airline operations on the A320 family. You will complete the A320 Type Rating with Lauda Europe’s training partners and, subject to successful completion and operational requirements, progress to line flying on the A320 within the Ryanair Group.
Note: Places are strictly limited. Early applications are encouraged.
🧰 Eligibility & minimum requirements
- Licences & ratings: EASA Frozen ATPL (CPL/IR with ATPL theory), valid IR, ME, MCC, and UPRT.
- APS MCC: Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA APS MCC in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A. Standard MCC and MCC/JOC are no longer accepted.
- PIC hours (for modular graduates): 100 hours as PIC, or 70 hours as PIC if completed during a course of integrated flying training as set out in Appendix 3 A, C & D to Part-FCL and AMC1 to Appendix 3 A, C & D.
- Medical & language: EASA Class 1 Medical and ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Background & compliance: Ability to pass an enhanced background check and meet all other regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Must have a flight school report.
- NTR welcomed: Non-Type Rated candidates are invited to apply; A320 Type Rating is provided.
